Applications for the 2nd edition of the Bastille Art Prize are now open.
The Bastille Art Prize is an art prize organized by the Galerie Bessaud , located in the Bastille district of Paris. The prize aims to showcase artists, amateur or professional, regardless of their age or nationality.
The Bastille Art Prize aims to launch or strengthen the careers of artists internationally by allowing them to have their portfolios analyzed by 12 professionals in the sector, and for 5 winners to be exhibited in this renowned gallery for a month.

Call for applications
The application is made online until October 15, 2026 by submitting a portfolio in your application space .
The Prize is aimed at artists - amateurs or professionals - working in one or more of the following practices: drawing, engraving, installation, painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, decorative arts (textiles and materials, glass, wood, metal, ceramics, mosaic, paper or other techniques).

Designation of the winners
The independent jury will review all portfolios from October 16 to 31, 2026. Its role is to select the 5 winners. Their names will be announced online on November 3, 2026.
Exposure
The 5 winners are exhibited in a group show dedicated to them, at the Galerie Bessaud (Paris, Bastille) during the months of January/February 2027.
Opening, communication and mediation are entirely taken care of by the gallery thanks to participation fees.
The Jury
Because art is found today in all sectors of society, and it is crucial for artists to compare their work to this larger group, the Bastille Art Prize wishes to reflect this diversity as much as possible by calling on jury members from diverse backgrounds.
Professionals from art and culture, of course, but also professionals from industry, luxury, and architecture.
